How To Get Into Reading More Books | My Essential Tips For How To Find Time To Read

If you’re someone who loves reading but just doesn’t know how to find time to do it, then this video is for you. After doing some research, I’ve compiled a list of tips for how to get into reading more books.

The first thing that really helped me start reading more was getting a book cover that also serves as an organization tool. My cover includes sections for taking notes and for holding all of my pens and highlighters that I use for notes as I read. Just having an aesthetically pleasing cover that holds all of my things makes me a lot more excited about reading.

The second tip that I share is dropping a book when it gets boring. If a book is not grabbing your attention, or you realize part of the way through that it’s not what you thought it would be, then why keep reading it? If you’re trying to figure out how to get into reading more, forcing yourself to read is not the answer. The key is to learn how to find time to read, but not to make reading unpleasant.

A third tip is setting an alarm on your phone that tells you when to read. When you set an alarm for ten minutes at the same time every day, then it can help you build a consistent habit. Ten minutes is not too long and it will get you used to the act of reading.

Learning how to get into reading more books is something that many of us struggle with. For something that is so beneficial and enjoyable, it is often difficult to figure out how to find time for it. I hope these tips help you start reading more of those books that you’ve been wanting to read.
