How to get your real estate license in Michigan.

1. Complete Your Required Education
Michigan license law requires 40 hours of education and Hondros College of Business offers the education online, so you can take it anywhere, and anytime on your schedule. You must pass a school final exam with a 70% or higher. Hondros College of Business will submit your certificate of completion to the state of Michigan. You must apply for licensure within 36 months of completing your pre-licensing education.

2. Complete And Submit Your Real Estate Salesperson License Application
You will have to apply online for licensure and pay the license fee to submit your application.

3. Receive Authorization To Test
Once your application is approved, you will receive an email from the state of Michigan notifying you of your authorization to register for the exam.

4. Contact PSI To Schedule Your Exam

5. Take And Pass Your Exam
If your broker sponsorship is confirmed prior to your exam date, you will receive the photo pocket license at the PSI Examination site upon successful completion of your exam.
