How To Harvest, Prune and Dry Lavender, The Easy Way

In this short video I’ll explain and give top tips on how to cut, prune and dry lavender easily and effortlessly. Give useful tips on how to use lavender both fresh and dried.

There are two optimal times to cut lavender, one is when the buds are still closed but soon to open. This is the option you choose when drying out. The second time is when using as a herb and in cooking, it's best to cut this when the flowers are open and bloomed.

Lavender is such a versatile herb and can be used with so many different herbs in cooking, like oregano, Rosemary or thyme to name a few. It can then be used in crafts, put into sachets to make the sock draw or wardrobe smell nice.

It grows in so many places and I didn’t think lavender was edible or so good in so many different situations.
