Connecting a satellite TV receiver to a computer makes it possible to access movies on demand and other instant features from the satellite company.

Here is the step :

1. Plug an Ethernet cable from the port on the back of the satellite TV receiver to a port on the router. The plugs insert in the ports with the locking tab turned upward

2. Connect a second Ethernet cable from another port on the router to a port on the computer.

3. Turn on the equipment and press the "Menu" button on the satellite TV receiver or remote control, then use the down arrow key to select "Settings" and "Network Settings."
