How to Install a Graphics Card into a Desktop PC

In this video, I will show you all of the steps in installing/replacing a video card in a desktop computer. Whether you don't have a graphics card in your PC yet and you're wanting to install one, have a graphics card and want to swap it out with a new one, or if you've been using on-board/integrated graphics and are installing a dedicated GPU on top of it, I will cover all three of these situations.

When installing a graphics card on top of an on-board one, generally speaking there are NO additional steps required compared to installing a card when you DON'T have on-board... but that being said, there are some rare occasions when you'll have to either disable the on-board driver in your Device Manager or manually set the GPU to "PCI-e" in your BIOS if, for whatever reason, your OS is just not detecting the new card. Again, this is rare.
