Index funds are the easiest way to invest if you want to become a millionaire. Warren Buffett investment God himself even recommends the trustee of his will to invest mostly into a fund that resembles the S&P 500.

So today's video I'll do a deep dive of why I recommend investing into index funds, what they are, and also how you can get started doing it yourself.

Index funds are pretty simple to wrap your head around, they are basically just a benchmark compilation of different kinds of stocks. There are numerous different types of indexes oh, but the one that you probably heard the most will be the S&P 500. This is usually a benchmark index that most investors compare their portfolio too.

Some of the main reasons why you want to invest into index funds is that they generally have a very low cost of maintenance. You can invest in index funds mostly through ETF’s or mutual funds. Whenever you invest in any of these funds that are passively managed meaning that they just mirror an index and the fund manager is not actively trading the stocks, so it does not cost that much to own and maintain.

Tax purposes is another great reason why most people should invest in index funds. The longer you hold stocks and ETFs, you will give Uncle Sam less money. Aside from that, simplicity is probably one of the key reasons why you should invest in this. It is simple, you don't have to manage your investments all that often. Investing in index funds also includes great diversification which limits your volatility by picking individual stocks as well.
