Description from the creator

In this video, we will learn the basics of making simple costume mounts using Fosshape, a resin-impregnated polyester felt that is hardened using heat or steam, We will explore how to create a master form from ethafoam or commercial dress forms, how to make a pattern and sew the Fosshape, and techniques for shrinking the material over the master form. In addition, we will learn a simple way to create bendable, posable arms using ethafoam backer rod and magnets, and discuss ways to mount the finished form to a stand using off-the shelf hardware.
