Leather bags are fun, useful leather crafting projects. They can be made as simple or as complicated as you'd like to make them! We show you how to get started and share some useful tips for making a leather bag from scratch. We walk you through making a simple pattern, placing handles, sewing a pocket, and how to close up the bag neatly without having to flip the bag inside out. For this bag we used some vegetable tanned leather around 5-6oz, nylon waxed thread, and some solid brass pop rivets and line 24 snaps. Happy Crafting!
