What's an In-Shower Lotion?
In-shower lotions are great formulations but interestingly, not many people are familiar with the concept. They are essentially oil in water emulsions that are applied in the shower, after you've used a cleanser. Leave the lotion to sink into the skin and then, after a minute or so, you will need to rinse it off and dab dry your skin with a towel. It is often talked about how important it is to apply moisturisers on damp or wet skin as they will lock in the moisture. This is what an in-shower lotion takes advantage of, you apply the lotion liberally onto wet skin and allow it to work its magic.
