How To Make A YouTube Video Autoplay on Facebook

UPDATE: While this method still works most of the time as an "online" option, such as using a Chromebook, I've since discovered a free piece of software you download called "4K Video Downloader". I've been using it for a while now. It works every time and doesn't have malware or anything that can harm your Windows or MAC computer. You can use a forever free version with small ads (safe) or an ad-free paid version. It works great and you only need the YouTube Link to the video. Check it out here: 4kdownload.com/ - (Remember, to check copyright infringement of videos you download. I only download videos from my direct marketing company as promos on our Facebook page or videos I have permission to do so. Although it may not be illegal, downloading videos from YouTube is against their terms of service. If I'm posting to a blog, I ALWAYS use YouTube's embed code that makes your website look like it's playing the video directly from your site. Facebook doesn't conveniently allow for that.) On Facebook I also include the link to the YouTube video in my post as part of my "Video Credit".

Some Direct Marketers and Health Coaches have been asking me lately how I get my YouTube videos to start automatically on Facebook.

Let's face it, videos on your Facebook page that start automatically as you scroll over them and play directly from your post are definitely more attractive (and attract more attention) than the static image link that Facebook posts for you when you try to link to a YouTube video.

While YouTube enables you to stream their videos directly to your website, as well many other locations, giving the appearance that the video is playing directly from your site, Facebook currently does not support this. HOWEVER.....
