How to Make Autotuned Tik Toks

Want to make your own autotuned Tik Tok storytime video like the ones you always see on the For You page? Watch this video to learn how to make an autotuned Tik Tok using the Voloco app.

The autotune voice effect is not available within Tik Tok itself. You’ll need to download an app called Voloco.

To make your autotuned video, open Voloco and tap the plus sign at the bottom. Tap the switch at the top to switch to video mode. Then tap Effect. Select Big Chorus. If you tap Key, you can change the key if you like. I’m just leaving it as the default setting, Major C. When you’re ready to start making your video, tap the record button. Then, talk or sing whatever you’d like to say. To make the autotune effect more noticeable, I’d recommend singing your story instead of just talking normally. You could also sing just certain parts to make those stand out more. When you’re done recording, tap Stop. Your video will then be processed and a preview will automatically open. If you’re happy with it, tap Share. Then select Save Video to add it to your device’s camera roll.

Now you can post your video to Tik Tok! Open the Tik Tok app and tap the plus sign. Then tap Upload. Select the video you just saved, then tap Next. Now you can use the Tik Tok editor to add filters, effects, text, and stickers. When you’re done, tap Next. Now add a caption, and tap Post to share it.
