Clay beads are versatile and can be used in so many different ways! Make jewelry like necklaces and bracelets or make luggage tags and keychains. The possibilities are endless!

All you need are a few supplies and some simple know how!

First start by rolling the clay into a ball. Make sure your edges are smooth and perfect. Any imperfections will show in the finished piece!

Follow the tutorial to make cool shapes like round beads, cube beads, and tube beads.

When you are ready to bake your clay, preheat your oven to 275°F. Your package directions will tell you to bake at 300°F and to that I SAY NO! Don't do it! Oven bake clay can easily burn at 300°F. Instead, use a lower temperature and bake it for 15-18 minutes. To know whether it's done, touch the clay - it should be smooth and not tacky to the touch. It should also look matte and not shiny at all.
