I put about 5 hours into this. I pulled all the body panels off and pressure washed the frame and engine. Sanded and repainted the front and rear rack,then sat down and buffed the oxidation off right down the plastic. I used a 0000 (4 ought) fine steel wool. If you use anything else,you will leave scratches. Then I mixed 50/50 boiled linseed oil and paint thinner. Rubbed the panels down and let them set for a couple minutes. Buffed it off and put one more coat on and set the panels in the sun for a couple hours. Sunday morning I will take some pictures in the morning sun and put an ad on Craigslist.
