In today's video we discuss HOW TO MAKE NEPENTHES PRODUCE PITCHERS. We take a look at the 5 different species and cultivars of Nepenthes I currently have in my small collection and discuss the care needs of both Lowland and Highland Nepenthes as we look at each one.
I chat about the 'accepted wisdom' on the optimal conditions these climbing vines need in order to produce more pitchers, and why yours (and mine) might not be currently producing as many pitchers as we'd like.
We also look at signs our Nepenthes aren't happy and what the possible causes might be of a Nepenthes not producing pitchers.
