Description from the creator

This video is to help teachers and students who aren't sure how to pronounce the letter sounds.

Yolanda Soryl models how to make the phonemes for a-z plus sh, ch and th. Each letter sound is said twice followed by the mnemonic.

The mnemonics used are from her free downloadable phonics scheme available at yolandasoryl.co.nz/store-free-downloads/

The letter/mnemonic cards used in the video can be purchased at yolandasoryl.co.nz/store-phonics/

Please note that the accent in this video is the New Zealand accent and the vowels are pronounced the New Zealand way.

These vowel phonemes will be different with a non- New Zealand accent.

Did you see the blooper? Two letter cards (j and i) were presented in the wrong order! Oops!
