How To Paint WATER In Photoshop

Hey guys! as promised (slightly late, had to redo the whole thing, wasn't recording the first time GGWP), here's a tutorial on how to paint water.

This approaches the process is the most logical way I could think of, but of course you might want to deviate from this once you get used to it, and push the colors more :) I'm simplifying a lot of things, and there are obviously certain other properties you might want to keep in mind (shadows from the waves, the fact anything underwater will not have specular, etc) but I hope this helps get started, let me know?
