Description from the creator

The correct procedure for ablution is a must for every Muslim. The law of performing ablution is mandatory. As a form of purifying oneself from hadas before dealing with Allah SWT.

From the Prophet Muhammad said: "The prayer of one of you will not be accepted if he is successful until he performs ablution." Abu Hurairah's hadith.

In the holy book Al-Quran surah Al-Maidah verse 6, Allah believes: "O you who believe, if you want to pray, then wash your face, your hands up to the elbows and sweep your head and wash your feet up to the ankles."

Of course, it must be studied from an early age so that it is accustomed to adulthood regarding the correct procedure for ablution, according to Islamic law. How extraordinary is the kindness of Allah to reward His servants in a fairly simple way, such as ablution.
In another statement, Uthman bin Affan radiyallahu'anhu said: "Whoever performs ablution as exemplified by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wa Salam, will undoubtedly be forgiven for his past sins, and his journey to the mosque and prayers as an additional reward for him." Muslim narrative hadith.

1. Intention of Ablution

Everything must be started with the intention, like doing work and worship. As Bukhari has stated in the hadith, "Rasulullah SAW explained that all actions depend on his intention, and someone will get a reward according to what he intended ..." Bukhari in Fathul Baary, 1: 9; Muslim, 6:48.
Read the intention with sincerity and sincerity:

"NAWAITUL WUDHUU-A LIRAF'LL HADATSIL ASHGHARI FARDHAL LILAAHI TA'AALAA"

Meaning:
"I intend to perform ablution to get rid of the small hadats of fardu because of Allah."

2. Read Basmalah While Washing Hands

After reading the intention, then you read basmalah (bismillahirrahmanirrahim), placing your palms 3 times between your fingers. If you forget to read basmalah, ablution is still considered valid.
3. Gargle
The next step, rinse your mouth 3 times. Rotating the water in the oral cavity to clean the teeth from food debris and remove it.

4. Cleaning the Nostrils

Clean your nostrils 3 times to remove the dirt in them. Sunnah by inhaling water, then removing it and squeezing its nose.

5. Rinse the whole face

After that, rinse the entire face to the outline near the hair, starting from the head of the hair to the chin.

6. Washing Both Hands to Elbows
The next step is to rinse your hands 3 times. Starting with the right hand first, then the left hand.

7. Wiping the head

Rub your head from front to back once. Not just dabbing at the front hair.

Ali ibn Abi Talib said, "I saw Prophet SAW rubbing his head once." Sahih Abu Dawud's hadith no.106.

There are those who allow it by washing the forehead to the tip of the forehead or part of the head 3 times. Both are included in the correct procedure for ablution.

8. Clean Both Ears
Furthermore, cleaning the ears, done simultaneously between the right and the left. How to wash it, insert the index finger into the ear, then the thumb rubs the ears from the bottom upwards 3 times.

9. Washing the feet to the top of the ankles

The next correct procedure for ablution is to enter the feet above the ankles 3 times. Starting with the right leg first, then the left leg.

In another hadith by Bukhari, Put your right foot three times then your left foot. And when washing the feet, Rasulullah rubbed his little finger between the toes of HR. Bukhari; Fathul Baari, and Muslim.

Make sure every crease between your fingers and back heel is completely washed with water. Rub your feet so that all of your feet are perfectly wet.
10. Read The Du'a After Wudhu
After the entire process of ablution from the beginning of the intention to the end has been completed, it is sunnah to read a prayer. We recommend that you face the direction of the Qibla and raise both hands, read calmly and solemnly:

Asyhadu allaa ilaaha illallaah, wahdahu laa syariika lahu, wa asyhadu anna muhammadan 'abduhu wa Rasuuluhu. Allahumma j'alnii interest in tawwabiina, waj'alnii minal mutathahiriina waj'alnii min 'ibaadikash shalihiina. "

Meaning: "I bear witness that there is no God but Allah, there is no partner for him, and I bear witness that the Prophet Muhammad was His servant and messenger. O Allah! Make me from the class of those who repent and make me from the class of those who purify and make me. I am part of Your pious servants. "
