Recap

Composition
-Lock the camera down and style to the camera
-90 degree or Top-down
-45 degree or side shot
-Place your hero object on the thirds or center

Lighting
-Single direction light source
-Shoot against light to add definition
-Use a soft light/diffused light

Props/feeling/mood
-Pay attention to placement in the frame
-Create a world with props and backgrounds
-Choose a base/background that fits the mood you want
-Add ingredients to a dish
-Watch out for reflective objects
-Neutral color palette allows the food to stand out
-Add some texture like a piece of fabric or a book

Extra Tips
-Add water to make it gleam
-Have action in the scene
