Description from the creator

For the students of Canisteo-Greenwood concerned about getting & signing yearbooks at the end of this bizarre COVID-19 school closure.

Yearbooks will be available foe pickup at Student Item Pickup Days.

To get them signed:
STEP 1) CHECK FOR CHILDREN’S ONLINE PRIVACY PROTECTION ACT (COPPA)
If you are 13 or older, then proceed right on to step 2. If you are younger than 13, your parents must proceed from here on your behalf. You may still have friends sign your yearbook digitally, but parents should screen this process and preview comments before printing or finalizing digital copies for their child’s yearbook.

STEP 2) YEARBOOKSIGNING.JOSTENS.COM
Go to the Jostens online yearbook signing web page at yearbooksigning.jostens.com. On the home page, select the blue “Get started” button.

STEP 3) CREATE YOUR INTRO PAGE.
Here, you may customize the color of your yearbook signing page. Red is our representative school color, but you may choose whichever color you’d like.

Step 4) VERIFY THE TIME-FRAME IN WHICH YOU’LL ACCEPT SIGNATURES
Set it for sometime within a week. That way your friends have a little time to think of their response, but the urgency to get it done soon will make sure they do not forget it. Trust me, when people have a long time to get something done, it often never does get done.

Step 5) SHARE THE LINK TO YOUR PAGE
Copy and email/text the link to your friends and teachers who you would like to sign your yearbook. Only those with the link will be able to access your page, but that also means ANYONE with the link could access it. SO be careful and avoid posting it to public places like social media where total strangers or other people you don’t want to invite will see it.
You may need to remind people to leave a comment/signature before the time is up.

Step 6) APPROVE SIGNATURES
As signatures and comments come in, you may approve or delete the comments before printing.

Step 7) PRINT/SAVE
Print out your completed comments page and insert it into your yearbook for future viewing
