In this video, we will prepare the Diesel Generators (DG) 1 and 2 in our Engine Room Simulators. We will follow the procedure as stated in the Operation's Manual given by Kongsberg. The procedure is as follow:
1. Prepare/start Emergency Generator
2. Engage breakers on Emergency Switchboards
3. Fill the emergency air receiver
4. Prepare/start aux. sea water system
5. Prepare/start LT fresh water system
6. Prepare / start DG #1, and connect to 440V board
7. Engage breakers in main switchboard starters and feeders
8. Check all breakers closed on 220V main and emergency board
9. Start fans
10. Prepare/ start DG#2
11. Synchronize DG1 and DG2 #PleaseHelpMe #Subscribe
