When pricing your first freelance project here's the steps to take:
1: do you research - use google or ask around to know the price range for this type of project - from low end, average to high end. Aim for the average, but most importantly - go in to the meeting knowing what you want.
2: ask your potential client for their budget (it might be higher than what you we're planning to ask for)
