Learn how to reactivate your Facebook account if you've deactivated it and then had a change of heart. If you want to get back to using your old Facebook account, we'll show you the quick and easy way to do it.

You can only reactivate a Facebook account if you've deactivated it in the last 14 days. 14 days after deactivating your account, your account will be permanently deleted, and cannot be recovered.

To reactivate your Facebook account within the 14-day period after deactivation, open your browser and go to Facebook.com. Then enter the same email address or phone number and the password you were using at the time you deactivated your account. You should see your timeline appear on your screen. Your profile, posts, photos, and friends list will all be the same as before you deactivated your account.
