How to read an ECG / EKG Part 2: Heart Block

In this video, I go over the basics of the various types of heart block. We will discuss AV blocks and how to distinguish 1st, 2nd, and 3rd degree blocks, as well as review bundle branch blocks and fascicular blocks. Going over how to identify this on ECGs as well as understanding exactly where in the heart's conduction system the block is occurring are important to get a good hold on it. Again - there are more detailed nuances but I tried to keep it as simple for now.

Also remember sometimes there are blocks that don't exactly fit one criteria, or perhaps straddle more than one criteria. This will happen in rael life, and this is where understanding not just the "classification" of what type of block it is, but knowing where the block may be occurring will help you guide your treatment strategy!
