🎯Reading is the best way to learn new things. But in my experience, reading alone does not make you smarter because if you don't do anything after reading a book, you'll just forget what you learned. At most, people just bold, highlight or write in marginalia and don't do anything with the highlights. This is not an effective studying method.
So, what can we do to maximise our learning from books? In this video, I talks about the three steps of reading to actually learn from books.
