Description from the creator

HOW TO RECORD A PICTURE BOOK WITH AUDIO USING YOUR IPHONE. Share books that you love with your students and read to them online.

1️⃣ Using your phone take a picture of each page.
2️⃣ Crop and straighten the pictures using your phone editor like you do for your photos of your family or your dog or your selfies!
3️⃣ Upload your picture page photos to your computer.
4️⃣ Play them while recording yourself reading them using Screencastify.

It's so easy to share your most beloved books online with your phone and a tiny bit of editing plus Screencastify. If you don't know how to use Screencastify, please check out my How To Screencastify video at youtu.be/DLYnqQrtMb4

I did a bit of research on reading books online to ensure I wasn't breaking copyright rules and Hansel and Gretel falls under the Public Domain list of books that may be used when teaching, presenting.

Hansel and Gretel is a well-known German fairy tale recorded by the Brothers Grimm and published in 1812. The book I present here as an example is from the Disney Golden Book collection and I'm using it as a teaching tool and not profiting nor selling it. I am not an IP expert, so please do your research before presenting materials online that you do not own.

Here is a link that also tells Hansel and Gretel online and it's really popular and fun to watch with your kids.

Finally, here is a link to more information about the story itself and it's great for brainstorming other projects using fairy tales! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hansel_and_Gretel
