One of the best things you can do for a Bermuda Lawn, coming out of Winter and rolling into Spring, is to scalp it down! Down with the brown, all the way to the dirt. Studies through extension offices have shown that this will promote green up faster in Bermuda lawns. The other thing you want to make sure you do after scalping it down, is to hit it with some fertilizer. A fert. with high nitrogen is best. Those are the two main topics we go into in this video. How to scalp down Bermuda Grass and Fertilizing Warm Season Grass with a slow release Nitrogen Fertilizer!
