Description from the creator

First of all, it's rare for any Theater Director to actually get to choose the play they direct. Most directors are 'Hired guns,' so they don't get to choose. If you are lucky enough to be in a position to choose, the first play of the season should always be one which will excite your audience and build up your following, to get people back again throughout the season. Of course, it will depend a lot of your own personal tastes, but try to avoid jumping around too much in theme and style. The programming of your theater determines its character and audience, and jumping around too much in a vain bid to please everyone will only end up alienating half of your audience each time. The trick is striking a balance. Producing Artistic Director Joseph Adler shows you how.
