Description from the creator

#Gmail canned auto response & filters

The use of Gmail canned auto response and filters gives you the freedom to get on with your day to day stuff away from your business and puts your preplanned messages on auto pilot just as if it was you responding at that moment.
Here is how to setup a canned auto response in your gmail account after you login

# go into settings and find where it says labs click & scroll down ,find & enable canned
responses , then scroll down and click save,
# with canned responses now enable you need to create a canned response by clicking compose
mail and type the first message response.
# if you have completed writing the response message go where it says canned response which is
under the subject header ,click on that and tell it to save as a NEW CANNED RESPONSE.
# give it a subject title which must be the subject of the canned response ,then click ok.
# if you click again where it says canned responses you will see you saved canned response
message under the insert listing.
*note if you want to add something else to the message go ahead but just go to save under
canned responses and just click where it says save.
# just get out of canned and responses and just discard the composition
# the next step would be adding a filter,go into settings and click on filter then click on create a
new filter
# go ahead and fill in FROM ,if not go to the SUBJECT box preferably fill the box with the canned
response title ,then click next.
# select whatever filters you desire to use but do not forget to click on send canned response and
choose the canned auto response message you saved.
