When I’m interviewing people, a number of times people will ask me “how do I stand out?”, “how will I be remembered to the interviewer?” And from my perspective having interviewed thousands of people in my time, the people who really stick in my mind are the people who come across as just genuinely passionate about what they do. So they really should know their industry. They should know who has the best marketing campaign out there at the moment. Who has fantastic work. Who’s not doing such fantastic work out there at this moment in time. So people who are able to give you key examples of their industry sector. It really shines through — their passion for what they have. Also people in the marketplace that up skill themselves because they really are hungry to learn and develop. I think that’s a fantastic attribute to have and it shows that they have the attitude that they love to grow and have that flexibility to develop and keep on learning.
