I’ve been teaching lessons to beginner students for over 5 years now, and the most common question I get from them when they start is “what gear do I need to get?” Parents of young students are always relieved when I tell them that they don’t need a full kit just yet. Thankfully the drums are actually one of the cheapest instruments to get started on.
