This is incredibly important information, especially if you will be collecting data in Excel then later importing it into SPSS for analysis. Planning ahead can save you hours of time and effort because if your data are not rectangular, you cannot import them into SPSS. Learn this information before you begin data collection so that your project will go smoothly.
