Description from the creator

In this video we learn how to use the reaction quotient (Q) as a measure of reaction progress. This concept is introduced in detail and then compared to K. We solve two problems (OpenStax 13.19 and 13.20) by computing Q and comparing it to K. If the reaction quotient (Q) is less than K then this means a reaction will run forward to equilibrium. On the other hand, if a reaction quotient (Q) is greater than K the reaction will proceed backwards towards reactants. Lastly if Q and K are equal the reaction is at equilibrium.
