How to tie your Aikido belt

In this clip, two fantastic students from our children's Aikido program give a wonderful demonstration of how to tie your Aikido belt - a great learning resource for other children, parents and adult students alike!
Step 1: Find the middle of your belt
Step 2: Wrap it around your body starting at the front and crossing the two strands over at the back, then tucking the left tail over the right and back up behind both horizontal strands
Step 3: Make a "rabbit/bunny hole" with the top/right strand
Step 4: Thread the other strand ('"the rabbit/bunny") through the hole by coming up, over and then down into the hole, tidying the knot so it sits flat and is tight with no twists.
Step 5: Thread each of the tails in between the two horizontal strands et voila! - if you've followed the video carefully, you'll have a perfectly flat knot that won't come undone during class! :)
