We see retirement as a journey. It can be fun and have great moments along the way. But you’ll also need to make lots of decisions and many of them can be confusing. Let’s start with your retirement finances. They might include things like 401(k)s, IRAs, pensions and other income and savings. You may also plan on taking Social Security.

Figuring out how they all come together can seem complicated. But here’s an easy way to think of them: as either income or savings.

Income is money you’ll get regularly in retirement, like Social Security or a pension. But you may be wondering if you’ll have enough income to cover your needs. That’s where savings come in... Savings come from money you’ve put away or invested. Having money saved is good, but you may be concerned about spending it too quickly.

By looking at how all your finances can work together, you can get even more income during retirement. We have been hired by your employer to help. Tell us your goals and together we'll figure out how to get there.
