How to Untangle Knotted Chains

Untangling a knotted chain can be a frustrating and intimidating experience. In this video Arden Jewelers gemologist, Angelo, will show you three techniques to help you unknot your own chains at home.

1. Gently roll the knot between your thumb and finger to loosen the knot.

2. Push pointed tweezers into the knot and let them expand to loosen it further.

3. Use paperclips to pull the knot apart little by little.
