ActiveCampaign email templates: designmodo.com/email-templates/activecampaign/

► Learn how to create email newsletter templates in a handy builder, upload them and send with ActiveCampaign platform, producing quite an impression.

► ActiveCampaign is one of the best marketing automation tools.
It offers numerous services. The most valuable are: CRM, sales automation, enterprise solutions, subscription forms, subject line generators, and of course, free marketing tools to boost your email campaigns.
Although it is not as multi-talented as Mailchimp, however, it does what it should, coming as a great alternative for creating and analyzing automated campaigns.
While the platform has many advantages, it still has one big flaw. Much like any other, its Achilles Heel is a newsletter template builder that has an inconvenient interface, and low possibilities.
To create something stylish and modern without coding and design skills is almost impossible there. However, there is a way out.
We are going to use Postcards, an intuitive drag-and-drop HTML email newsletter builder. It has almost endless possibilities and a handy interface that can be handled by non-tech-savvy people. There you can create all kinds of newsletters that will bring information to your contacts in a stylish manner.
One of the benefits of Postcards is that you can easily export the template and upload it in any email marketing platform. Use it to please your list of contacts with emails that have a brand-tailored design, stylish features, and last but not least responsive behavior.
Follow our video tutorial, where we will explain how to upload and send email newsletter templates with ActiveCampaign.
► To succeed, make sure you have a Designmodo account, an account in ActiveCampaign, and a code editor where you can open HTML files. Our choice is Notepad++, though you can choose anything you want, even the regular text editor.
Step 1 Create and export a Postcards template. Open Postcards App and create your email newsletter.
Simply drag and drop elements that you want to see in your next email newsletter. As for us, we will go for a basic layout with traditional components.
After you are done with designing, you need to export the template and download it as a ZIP package.
Therefore, press the “Export” button. In a dialog window, check the “Host images online” option and download the template.
Step 2 Create a new template in ActiveCampaign. Log into the system and move to Campaigns panel.
There press the “Create a template” button to activate a modal window with options.
Select a “Custom HTML” template type and push the “Add” button. It will take you into the ActiveCampaign code editor with a preview window.
Step 3 Add the Postcards template code to the custom HTML template. Extract the package downloaded from Postcards App. There you can find an index.html. Open it in your text editor.
Select everything in this file, copy and paste it into the ActiveCampaign editor, into the part with “Insert” inscription.
If everything is done right, at this point, you can see a fully functional custom email newsletter template in the right window.
If you are happy with the result, you should press the “Save and exit” button in order to add your template to the collection.
Next time you will create an email campaign, you will choose your design from the list of templates on the platform.
Small hint, search for your Postcards-generated masterpiece somewhere at the bottom of the list.
That is all. Our video tutorial has shown you how to create a design in Postcards App, upload, and send email newsletter templates with ActiveCampaigns.
