Description from the creator

Before rubber Notary seal stamps were approved for use in most states, seal embossers were the tool for documenting notarizations.

To assemble your new seal embosser, hold it upright
and remove the embosser plates from the back. Look for the plate with rectangular grooves. This is the bottom plate of your seal. With these grooves facing down, squeeze the plates together for insertion. Metal tabs on the seal press will lock into the grooves when you insert the embosser plates correctly.

To make a seal impression, slide a page of the document between the two embosser plates. Squeeze the handle of the seal press
to create the impression.

Most states require an embossed Notary seal to be inked. To do that, you’ll use an embossment inker. To ink your seal, place the embossed document on a flat surface. Hold the embossment inker by the handle and center it carefully over your seal impression. Press and lift the inker off the impression. If the ink coverage is incomplete, gently tamp the inker over the impression. Replace the cover when you’re done.

Once the notarization is complete, you’ll want to lock
the embosser to keep it clean and protected. To lock it, squeeze the handle firmly to close the plates. Then slide the lock button up into the locked position.

Your seal embosser can now be stored until your next notarization.
