-Elcometer 319 Dew point meter
-What is dew pint and why it is checked by the coating inspector before the paint is applied to the substrate
-Calculating dew point by dew point meter

The temperature at which the condensation will start forming on a surface is the dew point meaning. The dew point temperature is measure and recorded by the coating inspector to ensure the surface to be coated is free from condensation. The steel surface temperature should be at least 3 degrees Celcius above the dew pint temperature for the coating work to commence.

One of the tasks that the COATING INSPECTOR performs is to monitor and record the climatic conditions before and during the coating work and document the result.
