How to use Git stash commands effectively

When you are working on a project, sometimes things might go messy and you want to switch between branches to work on other stuff but don't want to commit. You can switch to other branches without doing a commit with the help of git stash. In this case, you can use the git stash command to stash/store your changes in the local memory and you retrieve back when needed by applying the stash any time.

The beauty of stash is you can apply the stash on another branch of the same repository as well.

To save the temporary changes - git stash save "Save message"
To see the list of stash -- git stash list
To apply stash by Id(n) -- git stash apply stash@{n}
To pop out the stash -- git stash pop
To drop the particular stash from memory -- git stash drop stash@{n}
To clear the stash -- git stash clear
