How to Win The Young Architect Award

Relax, close your eyes and create a clear mental picture of achieving your dream. Try to make your picture as real as possible. Don’t just create a picture, create an emotion! Dreams, goals and ambitions are the motivations that drive us to succeed in life. Thinking out of the box help us in breaking down those barriers in order to move forward. I believe that creativity is just about connecting things: as Steve Jobs said “The Best way to create value in the 21st century is to connect creativity with technology” My job is to make people live happily and feel better; I will always do that for as long as I live. The better the architecture, the better life will be achieved for all.

Making people live happily and feel good about themselves is the goal of this year’s Young Architect of the Year, Mouaz Abouzaid of Dewan. The judges praised his “strong commitment to sustainability” and added that he will be “a person to watch out for very closely
over the coming years”. Abouzaid, who has among his roles at Dewan lead designer and technology and BIM manager, said: “It’s really an honour to get this award. I think it will take me to another level. I have done a lot of work during the last year.
