BJD Faceup Tutorial - Fairyland Minifee Ria Commission

A few of my friends and subscribers mentioned wanting to watch me work on a faceup. After my intro, I take the time to show my work area and the supplies I use for my faceups. For the rest of the video I am working on a commission and I sped up the sections where I wasn’t talking. I have commentary throughout the video, which explains the things I’m doing and what I’m using. DISCLAIMER: I am in no way claiming that my steps for doing faceups is the correct or best way to do a faceup. This is my FIRST TIME recording a faceup process and I had to cut some of the footage to keep it under an hour. Faceup begins at 8:50.

Extra things you may need to know:
- I clean my BJD heads with soap and water before beginning any new faceup.
- I coat the resin with 2 layers of MSC or ZM Spray BEFORE working on a faceup.
- I wait 2 hours between layers to let the MSC mostly dry. Sometimes I wait overnight.
- I usually use between 5-8 coats of MSC on a single faceup.
