How to Avoid Baby Mama Drama| Tips for the girlfriend/stepmom

These are simply a few tips I have learned over the years to help avoid “baby mama drama”, for both now and in the future. And if you are now or in the future going to have to possibly deal with a court custody or civil battle over these problems, these tips will save you a lot of headache. Over the years, I have been in, dealt with, and have had to help many friends deal with these situations. So remember: You are not alone. And these may not always work all the time for all situations. Some drama just can’t be avoided, especially if the co-parenting relationship is very new, or the break-up is fresh. And some moms are just “out there” (To put it nicely.), but these tips will lessen the issues you all will encounter. I will tell you that I have been on BOTH sides of the fence, so this is not coming from just a stepmother’s perspective. Remember, a lot of the issues you will encounter will be control issues. Moms want control of their kids and who is involved in their kids lives, what goes on, etc. That will be your biggest hurdle to get the baby mama over. Because the fact is, she can’t control everything. No one can. But that doesn’t mean she isn’t going to try anyways.
