You can change your username to a single word using this simple hack, first you have to log in to your Youtube channel, then go in to creator studios and click your username on the top right corner once the menu drop down appears click the gear icon next the creator studios icon, another page will appear and once you click on the 'Edit on google' link which will take you to google, where your given screen to change your name, in the the first name box type in the username you would like and on the last name box just enter a period (.) and than hit ok, thats it, you're done.
