Pokemon SoulSilver journey - how to get Hoenn Starter.

Follow the steps, it is simple:
1) Go to Saffron City, find the pink house at the upper-west of the city.
2) Enter the pink house, go to the top floor.
3) Talk to the copycat lady, and she will say she has lost a doll.
4) Then, go to Vermilion City, find the pokemon fan club house below the Pokemon Center across the sea, at the most left side.
5) Enter it, talk to the guy that sitting on the left sofa on the middle table. He will give you the Lost Doll.
6) Once you get out the house, Steven the Hoenn Champion will approach you, and by this time, Latios/Latias will be released and roaming around Kanto.
7) Go back to the pink house on Saffron City and give the Lost Doll to the girl.
8) Now go to Sliph Co. at the middle of Saffron City.
9) Walk to the eastern side of the ground floor of the building and Steven will there, talk to him.
10) You will have the chance of choosing 'Green Stone', 'Red Stone', and 'Blue Stone' which represented Hoenn's starters, Treecko, Torchic and Mudkip in the order. Make sure your team has an empty slot! You can go to the Pokemon Center to deposit a pokemon, and go back to Sliph Co to receive the Hoenn Starter.

The second thing I did after defeating Red.

If you have the chance of getting Pokewalker, don't choose Torchic from here, you can get Torchic from the pokewalker.
