How to give your bunny medicine
ChannelBunnyPigiShowDescription from the creator
Welcome to our new "Bunny care" video. Today we are going to talk about giving medicine to a sick bunny.
Unfortunately, bunnies can easily get sick (GI stasis, liver problem, rejecting food because of the pain, bladder problems...), so it's a MUST for an owner to know how to properly give bunny a medicine. Vet visits can cost you a lot, and they are, also, very stressful for a bunny, so you have to be ready for giving the medicine by yourself, in your own home.
Unfortunately, "Critical care" is not available in many countries, so you have to mix the food by yourself, by putting some vegetables and hay, if possible, in blender, and try to make it as finely chopped as possible. Then you put the home made mix into syringe. You can also put some water into the mix.

And to learn bunny burrito technique (wrap bun in towel) as most bunnies won't take force feeding and meds this well, depending on the med. Lastly to take care to go slow so bun doesn't aspirate."
