Description from the creator

Having been on YouTube since 2008, and having started let's playing back in 2010, I have gotten a lot of questions about how to do YouTube over the years. How to grow as a creator, and how to deal with the rough start many have to endure. So here's a video containing my tips and advice for having a good time on YouTube, be it let's plays or other content! Enjoy!

Summary of the videos content:

- Focus on gaining experience, and don't fret about your videos not being high quality in the beginning. Just do it over and over, and improve.

- Do what you enjoy, instead of focusing on just what makes you big on YouTube. Unless those two go hand-in-hand, then you're quite lucky! If you're not having a good time, you have a bigger chance of quitting.

- Don't let low views scare you, most people have to start at the bottom, often meaning little to no recognition at once. So improve, and become someone people would love to watch.

- Don't do one type of content exclusively, because if you lock yourself down with just doing one thing and never experiment, then it can be hard to move away from this content in the future, and you might end up losing most of your fanbase. Be open to change and experimentation from the start.

- Draw inspiration from others, incorporate elements from others into your own style if you need some building blocks to start with.

- Be good to your fans, and you often receive a lot of love back. YouTube's a lot more fun when you have a supportive audience!

Most of the music in this video was from the Katawa Shoujo soundtrack, a superb soundtrack I would never have found if it wasn't for your visual novel suggestions!

The intro track is "Cloud 9" by Itro & Tobu - ► youtu.be/VtKbiyyVZks

Piano track around 7:00 was "Hyperfun" by Kevin MacLeod ► incompetech.com
