Description from the creator

This is a crucial piece of gear every boater needs!!! Contact your nearest Coast Guard station for the MMSI number. Either give the USCG station a courtesy call or enter their MMSI number into your device under the test call feature. Press enter and wait. Responses depend on GPS signal and environmental factors. To back up a few steps, first you will need an FCC marine radio operator number/or, and register your device. Next you pay for worldwide coverage or local coverage with your marine radio with the USCG. Finally, you are able to send out an emergency beacon similar to a PLB or EPIRB anywhere in the world or in your region.
