I'm not an expert at all, but I found making kumiko very funny, and decided to make this tutorial, hoping that someone can give kumiko a try in the future.
There are plenty of good tutorial out there, but those I saw only consider wood strips with the same thickness of the blade kerf. In this one you'll find a way to make kumiko with pre-cut wood strips thicker than the kerf blade.
