In this video I'm showing how I made a very simple but effective grappling hook or recovery hook.
3 pieces of thread bar M10 ( all I had )
1 steel eyelet and an M10 bolt I had
1 length of rope
1 pair of underpants for outside of my clothes, because I'm not a real superhero without them on.

And boom you got yourself a simple DIY grappling hook, great for recovering things from rivers or canals and ponds, or for your local bank.
Oh and obviously it's easier if you have a welder or get to use one, but it could just as easily be bolted together.
