Here I make the most common mistake when cleaning my new substrate, which is to not rinse it out completely. I developed a way to easily clean cheap home depot / lowes sand or substrate to make it not only clean, but also aquarium safe.

When I was done rinsing the sand about 30 times with overflow, it was still dirty. I have advice for you how to clean it better without having to rinse it for 30 times.
